The question everyone is asking- Where can I fast charge my Tesla? The good news is that our EV infrastructure technology is OEM agnostic. As the charging time varies depending on the type of the battery and the type of charger we value your needs and offer a range of EV charging solutions that are universal and are totally compatible with AEVs and PHEVs. Yes, they are compatible with the Tesla! We headed to a Powertech installation with a Tesla 3 to find out.

The Tesla Mode 3 (EU) comes with a charging port that is compatible with a Type 2 AC and CCS2 DC port. Once connected, the charging session was initiated delivering at first 41KW. A complete sync between the on-board computer of the Tesla and the ABB system signaled fast charging as the power delivery reached its fullest, delivery 49KW to the battery. In 20 minutes, a top-up of 40% charge on the battery was achieved. The seamless communication between ABB technology and Tesla was evident as the charging station delivered the required top-up just as we grabbed some coffee to proceed with our onward journey.
